Signs your interior needs more than a quick tidy

Cabins quietly collect DNA from every commute. Here is how to tell it is time for a Revival-level reset.

Sign 01

Leather looks chalky

UV exposure and harsh cleaners leave steering wheels grey and shiny.

Sign 02

Allergens linger

Dust trapped in seats and HVAC vents triggers sneezing.

Sign 03

Sticky touchpoints

Spills in cup holders, buttons and screens demand targeted agitation.

Sign 04

Glass haze at night

Interior film diffuses headlights and indicates constant off-gassing.

What Causes It

Cape Town lifestyle hits every surface differently

Beach trips, school runs and coffee commutes stack oils, sunscreen residue and fine dust on leather, alcantara and piano black trim.

  • Sea air & humidity leave salt crystals that dry out stitching.
  • Red dust + pollen embed deep into fabric weave and HVAC ducts.
  • Product build-up from supermarket wipes creates shiny, slippery plastics.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an interior detail take?

Between 3 and 5 hours. Heavily soiled interiors with pet hair, staining, or strong odours take longer. We tell you upfront.

Can you remove pet hair and odours?

Pet hair yes, usually completely. Odours depend on the source. We treat the cause, not just the symptom. Deodorising a car that still has wet carpet achieves nothing. We will tell you if the issue requires more than a single service.

Do you condition leather seats?

Yes. Leather is cleaned, then treated with a pH-neutral conditioner to restore moisture and prevent cracking. If your leather is already cracked or faded, we will let you know before we start.

How often should I get an interior detail?

Every 3 to 6 months for a car you use daily. Annual is fine if you keep it tidy in between. Kids and dogs in the car: go for every 3 months.
